Every Run Starts With The Decision To Try

Yesterday morning I was sitting on the couch, drinking my coffee in the pre-dawn quiet, thinking about how (or if) I could get through my 15 mile long run.  To tell the truth, I wasn’t looking forward to it – at all.  Fumbling around mentally, I delayed getting out the door for as long as possible. I wasn’t looking for excuses to skip the run…it was more like I saw the number of miles as an obstacle.
